The Sydney Opera House is a performing arts centre located in Sydney Harbour near the Harbour Bridge.
Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the building was formally opened on 20 October 1973. Utzon resigned and never saw it’s completion. He has never been back
The Opera House occupies the whole of Bennelong Point on Sydney Harbour and provides a geat scene as you drive across the harbour bridge.
The building consists of multiple performance venues hosting more than eight million people annually.
