Nepal

Nepal is a well-known country in the South of Asia. Officially called the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, it is a landlocked country situated in the Himalayas, for what it is best known. Nepal is bordered by China in the north and India in the south. Kathmandu is Nepal’s capital and is the largest city.
Mount Everest can be found in Nepal along with 7 other of the world’s tallest mountains.
Nepal is about 800 kms long by 200 kms wide. It is believed to have started forming around 75 million years ago. It is also believed the Indian continental crust forced its way under Eurasia lifting it up to for the Himalayas.
There are a wide range of things to do in Nepal, obviously including climbing Mount Everest for the hardened few.
But for the less brave there are a wide range of smaller, less dangerous treks you can go on. There are caves that can be explored, sky diving, bungee jumping, rafting, kayaking, biking, and a whole lot more.
